Departure ( Rapture ) Comes First, Man of Sin Revealed - 2 Thessalonians 2:3

The KJV 1611 is DEAD WRONG concerning 2 Thessalonians 2:3

2 Thessalonians 2:3 1599 Geneva Bible (GNV)

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a departing first, and that that man of sin be disclosed, even the son of perdition.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 World English Bible (WEB)

Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be, unless the departure comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction

departing in the Geneva Bible 1599...

departure in the World English Bible....

In most cases the words departing or departure from the Greek word 'apostasia' refer to LEAVING or GOING AWAY, and in this context it is NOT concerning a 'departure from FAITH' of born again and saved believers in JESUS which will result in 'a falling away' (from faith, according to the KJV 1611), which is NONSENSE, but it's referring to their BODIES, MINDS AND SOULS that are going to LEAVE this earth at the moment of the (pre-Jacob's Trouble) RAPTURE!

Romans 8:23 1599 Geneva Bible (GNV)

23 And not only the creature, but we also which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we do sigh in ourselves, waiting for the adoption, even the redemption of our body.

1 Corinthians 15:50-56 1599 Geneva Bible (GNV)

50 This say I, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51 Behold, I show you a secret thing, We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall blow, and the dead shall be raised up incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption: and this mortal must put on immortality.

54 So when this corruptible hath put on incorruption, and this mortal hath put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying, that is written, Death is swallowed up into victory.

55 O death where is thy sting? O grave where is thy victory?

56 The sting of death is sin: and the strength of sin is the Law.

The GLORIOUS DEPARTURE!

Brother Robert Breaker is a great teacher concerning the gospel of grace and related subjects, but like so many he believes the King James Bible is the ONLY reliable Bible in English, while the Geneva Bible 1560-1599 came FIRST and it's in most cases superior to the KJV, and it was the first 'American Bible', printed in large quantities, also in my country, the Netherlands.

IGNORE the footnotes and especially concerning 2 Thessalonians 2:3

Nevertheless I recommend his teachings and most certainly these:

  2. +Lee Weber People who deny the pre-Jacob's Trouble-rapture (pre trib rapture) are in most cases not saved according to the Gospel Of Grace, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 https://plus.google.com/u/0/collection/EcUrVE

And in most cases they don't know about this: Israel's Kingdom Gospel and Our Grace Gospel https://plus.google.com/u/0/106087908907898703754/posts/MmpWC84Doho

The book of Revelation is for the Jews:

Rightly dividing the Word is the goal of this article, and it is an indispensable key to proper understanding of the Bible. The abundance of scriptural evidence detailed in the third section makes it very clear that Revelation is doctrine for Israel, which was written to Jews who believed in Jesus Christ, by an apostle of the circumcision, for direct application in the prophetic "kingdom" dispensation. At the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple, God placed that dispensation in abeyance in 70 AD, to be resumed in the future tribulation. The entire book of Revelation, including chapters 1-3, is deeply rooted in Old Testament prophecy. It is doctrinally aligned with the epistles of Peter, James, John, and Jude, all of whom were apostles of the circumcision, as well as to the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Hebrews, and the Old Testament. The dispensation of grace in which we now live is revealed in Romans through Philemon, our Apostle Paul's letters to the Gentiles, with Acts being the book of transition between the two dispensations.

    1. +Lee Weber Yes, I know this argument and I used to believe in it too in the past, but now I believe the ENTIRE book of Revelation is not meant for the members of the Body of Christ, and the above quote opened my eyes.

"The abundance of scriptural evidence detailed in the third section makes it very clear that Revelation is doctrine for Israel, which was written to Jews who believed in Jesus Christ, by an apostle of the circumcision, for direct application in the prophetic "kingdom" dispensation."

The belief in the pre-Jacob's Trouble-rapture TRUTH is NOT about salvation, and the same goes for the FLAT EARTH TRUTH.

What's really important is to believe in The Gospel that SAVES FOREVER! https://plus.google.com/106087908907898703754/posts/CQXGSTN4RUn

And to know this too: ROMANS thru PHILEMON https://romansthruphilemon.wordpress.com/

And OF COURSE the rapture is still our Blessed Hope https://plus.google.com/u/0/106087908907898703754/posts/4X2kb7JGJkZ

    2. +Lee Weber Yes, and I've read this great comment, to which I responded:

      Many silly people think that the lukewarm means sinful Christians, but they miss the whole point.... The scenario, in metaphor would be likened to this bro. Hot would be Grace, Cold would be works, and the lukewarm is the mixing of the two, which would be worthy of being spewed out.... I bid;

Romans 11:6: And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

      AMEN!
I will VOMIT you out of my mouth! This is NOT concerning the Body of Christ https://ezekiel38rapture.blogspot.nl/search?q=Vomit

What's your real first (German) name?

Hans is from the Greek-Germanic Johannes is from the Hebrew Yochanan, meaning 'I AM is merciful' and 'I AM (that I AM) is God = JESUS, which means 'I AM SALVATION'.
