A Warning to All Pastors & Preachers still preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom

A Warning to All Pastors & Preachers still preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom. And, Acts 2:38 IS an example of that Kingdom Gospel, which was meant ONLY for the Jew under the law.

ONLY Paul's Gospel can save-1 Cor 15:1-4 KJV. Believe, and promote Paul's Gospel. The rapture of the Church, the Body of Christ, cannot take place until the fullness of the Gentile's be come in. And that can't happen if everyone keeps promoting the WRONG Gospel. There is ONLY one way to get into the Body of Christ, and that is to believe Paul's Gospel. Then, the Holy Spirit does everything that needs to be done. All is done by the Power of God. Water baptism will NEVER get you into the Body of Christ. Only the Power of God can do that.

The Holy Spirit is God in spiritual capacity and JESUS is God.
Isaiah 9:6 1599 Geneva Bible (GNV)

6 For unto us a child is born, and unto us a Son is given: and the government is upon his shoulder, and he shall call his name, Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The prince of peace.

He's the one who's fulfilling the following through every (eternally) saved sinner:
Ephesians 2:10 1599 Geneva Bible (GNV)

10 For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath ordained, that we should walk in them.

This is about HOW were are saved:

Ephesians 2:8-9 1599 Geneva Bible (GNV)

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God,

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast himself.

+Pastor Moreno Why do you call yourself 'Pastor'?
Are you happy you won't burn in hell forever, because that's what we all deserve, and are you happy you're saved by the undeserved gift of God's GRACE through FAITH alone in the atoning BLOOD of JESUS?

    4. +Steve The saint No, I'm NOT a 'Christian'!
I'm a former atheist and a sinner, saved by the undeserved gift of God's GRACE through FAITH alone in the atoning BLOOD of JESUS on the basis of the gospel of JESUS through His special Apostle Paul, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 https://plus.google.com/u/0/collection/EcUrVE

You're free to imitate the Jews, but it won't get you saved in this dispensation of GRACE.

Be wise and just BELIEVE in what JESUS has DONE for you and us.

    5. +Adrian Chapmanlaw There's plenty of proof of God's existence through His creation and if you're too thick to see it, then you're a victim of your god-complex.

  2. +Ans Rommers Hi Ans,

Many people do not realize that in the New Testament there are two Gospels. In the 4 Gospels, Matt, Mark, Luke, and John, [which is directed ONLY to the Nation of Israel, under the law], is The Gospel of the Kingdom. This also carried over into the book of Acts. This is an example of that Gospel--Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38 KJV. #ThisIsNotOurGospel! This is the Kingdom Gospel preached ONLY to the Jew, under the law. There is NO Salvation in a Gospel that wasn't meant for us, as Gentile's. When the Nation of Israel kept rejecting Jesus as their Messiah, God then turned to Paul with The Gospel of the Grace of God, and all the grace doctrines that were revealed to Paul by the revelation of the ascended Lord Jesus. The book of Acts was simply a transition from law to grace. The ONLY Gospel that can save lost people today, in this current Dispensation of the grace of God is indeed Paul's Gospel, spoken of only in his Epistles--1 Cor 15:1-4 KJV. When you rightly divide the word, the way we are instructed to, it's very easy to see this. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV. Please stop promoting a Gospel that cannot save, and was never meant for us as Church Age believers. Paul has issued a very strong warning to anyone preaching any other Gospel than what he preached. This is what he said--But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:8‭-‬9 KJV.

    1. When we get water baptized in this time of God's dispensation of grace, all we get is wet!

      WATER BAPTISM

It's extremely important to rightly divide on the subject of Israel's water baptism as opposed to our baptism by the Spirit into the body of Christ.

Although Paul did baptize a few during his Acts ministry to the Jew first, he never instructs any to be water baptized in his epistles. Just the opposite. Paul said that Christ sent him NOT to baptize...

      1 Corinthians 1:17-18 KJV
[17] For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. [18] For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Paul also said that there is one baptism...

      Ephesians 4:3-6 KJV
[3] Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. [4] There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; [5] One Lord, one faith, one baptism, [6] One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

That one baptism is the baptism by the Spirit (spiritual baptism) into the body of Christ...

      1 Corinthians 12:13 KJV
[13] For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

This spiritual baptism is our identity with the death, burial and resurrection of Christ...

      Romans 6:3-6 KJV
[3] Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? [4] Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. [5] For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: [6] Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him , that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

      Colossians 2:10-15 KJV
[10] And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: [11] In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: [12] Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. [13] And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; [14] Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; [15] And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Paul water baptized no one in Acts 19. These men had submitted to John's water baptism before Paul got to them...

    2. Acts 19:1-7 KJV
[1] And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, [2] He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. [3] And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. [4] Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. [5] When they heard this , they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. [6] And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. [7] And all the men were about twelve.

It's likely that Apollos had preached John's baptism to these twelve men. Apollos had been in Ephesus preaching John's baptism prior to Paul's arrival there...

      Acts 18:24-25 KJV
[24] And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus. [25] This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.

Paul does make a reference to Israel's water baptism in his defense of the resurrection in 1 Corinthians 15...

      1 Corinthians 15:29 KJV
[29] Else what shall they (those of Israel who had responded to the kingdom gospel preaching of John Baptist, Peter, the eleven, and Phillip in the gospels and Acts 2, 4, & 8) do which are baptized for the dead (Jesus) if the dead (Jesus) rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

John Baptist, Peter and the preachers of the kingdom gospel could NEVER say that Christ "sent me not to baptize", because indeed He did...

      John 1:19-34 KJV
[19] And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? [20] And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. [21] And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No. [22] Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself? [23] He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. [24] And they which were sent were of the Pharisees. [25] And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet? [26] John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; [27] He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose. [28] These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing. [29] The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. [30] This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. [31] And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. [32] And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. [33] And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. [34] And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

    3. Mark 16:14-18 KJV
[14] Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. [15] And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. [16] He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. [17] And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; [18] They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

      Matthew 28:16-20 KJV
[16] Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. [17] And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. [18] And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. [19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

You will do well to study out the truths I've presented here... Not every use of the word "baptize" or "baptism" refers to water. If it's written by Israel's apostles, it's water. If it's written by Paul, it's spiritual (except as noted in 1 Corinthians 1 & 15, as noted previously).

Regarding Acts 19. Most folks breeze through the first several verses without a careful study of what takes place.

Most folks read that Paul "rebaptized" these disciples. This did NOT happen! Verse 5 ties back to verse 4. These folks had heard about John's baptism and were previously baptized accordingly when they heard. These are kingdom believers having responded in faith with water baptism to the message of John prior to Paul's arrival in Ephesus. As an apostle, demonstrating his apostolic authority and power, all Paul does is lay hands on them so they could receive the Holy Ghost. (Acts 8:18 KJV
[18] And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,). In my mind, these folks had responded to Apollos's ministry (before Aquila and Priscilla helped him). ( Acts 18:24-25 KJV
[24] And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus. [25] This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.)

Types of baptism in the Bible

      Noah’s type baptism
Peter mentions that eight people were saved by water in an ark as a type of a future baptism. (Gen 6:13; 1 Peter 3:20-21)

      Baptism unto Moses
Paul presents Israel’s baptism unto Moses “in the cloud and in the sea”. (1 Cor 10:1-2; Exo 14:29)

      Israel’s ceremonial cleansings
These cleansing rituals were required under the Mosaic Law for the cleansing of the people. (Num 19:13; Lev 11:25; Exo 19:14; Exo 30:17-21; Heb 9:10)

      Delete
    4. Levitical priesthood baptisms

These washings were required in order to become a priest under the Law of Moses.
      (Exo 29:4; Lev 8:6; Num 8:7)

      Traditional Jewish baptisms

These baptisms were not mandated under the Law but were part of Jewish tradition.
      (Mt 15:1-2; Mk 7:1-9; Lk 11:38)

      John’s baptism
John came to Israel baptizing with water for the remission of sins so that they could enter the promised kingdom. (Mt 3:5-6; Mk 1:4; Lk 3:3; Jn 1:31; Lk 7:29; Acts 10:37)

      Jesus’ baptism by John
Jesus, who knew no sin, was baptized by John to fulfill all righteousness. (Mat 3:13-17; Mk 1:9-10)

      Baptism with fire
Jesus would baptize the nation with fire as they went through the tribulation. This trial baptism would damn the unfaithful to hell. (Isa 4:4; Mal 3:2-3; Mt 3:11; Lk 3:16)

      Jesus’ baptism unto death
Jesus’ second baptism which he accomplished at the cross where he was identified with the sins of Israel and the world. (Mt 20:22-23; Mk 10:38-39; Luke 12:50)

      Pentecostal water baptism
Peter’s presentation of water baptism for the remission of sins in the name of Jesus. (Acts 2:38; Mk 16:16; Mt 28:19; Acts 22:16; Eze 36:25)

      Pentecostal Spirit baptism
This is the baptism with the Holy Spirit by Jesus Christ from heaven poured out upon the believing remnant of Israel with signs and powers following. (Isa 44:3; Mt 3:11; Mk 1:8; Lk 24:49; Acts 2:17-18, 38; Acts 8:15-17; Acts 11:16)

      Gentile baptism of Cornelius
Cornelius was baptized with the Holy Spirit as a sign to Peter. Peter subsequently baptizes Cornelius and the other Spirit-filled Gentiles with water. (Acts 10:45-48)

      Baptism for the dead
This baptism is debated heavily and is most likely synonymous with one of the other baptisms. If this is true, “for the dead” would signify the circumstance under which those believers were baptized. (1 Cor 15:29)

      Baptism into Christ

The only baptism taught by Paul which identifies the believer with Christ, his death, and resurrection. This baptism is performed by the Spirit and does not include water.
      (1 Cor 12:13; Eph 4:5; Col 2:12; Gal 3:27; Rom 6:3-4)
